The Santo’s Trailhead & Campground is a premier destination for the biking enthusiast with 80+ miles of bike trails ranging from beginner to expert level.
West of Belleview is the equine-friendly Land Bridge Trailhead which spans I-75 and offers a natural and safe setting for humans and animals alike to cross over the busy highway. Adjoining the Cross Florida Greenway is the Florida Horse Park which sits on 500 acres and is a multi-purpose venue used for equine, agriculture, educational and sporting events.
East of Belleview you will find Lake Weir which is one of the most popular lakes for water sports in Marion County. Lake Weir has approximately 9 miles of shoreline and is easily accessed through the Carney Island Park & Boat Launch.
